Cut Holes In Gutters

Step 1 is to draw the shape of the hole and drill s few holes around that shape.
Cut holes in gutters. Make sure the patch is large enough to overlap the hole by at least 1 in 2 5 cm on all sides. Step 2 drill four holes in each corner of the outline you made of the sleeve drill one hole. This is the thing that connects the gutter and downspout together so it is important that it is placed correctly and securely. On the bottom of the gutter itself take a pencil or marker and trace the outline of a sleeve.
Here you can see the shape of the downspout flange i had. Then i used a fine tooth metal cutting blade in my jig saw. This one came with holes in it for rivets. Keep your thick work gloves on.
Cut the gutter from the bottom with a fine toothed hacksaw.
